Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who was an athlete and captain of the 2012 Fierce Five and 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. Aly was the recipient of three gold medals during the 2012 Olympics at London. In addition, she took home a bronze medal for the balance beam. It made her the Olympic gymnast with most medals. She took gold for team at the 2016 Olympics and was her as well as Gabby Douglas the first Americans to be the first pair of gold medalists back-to-back. Additionally, she won silver medals at the individual all-around and for floor exercises. The three years that passed between the two Olympics, she was off. She was also a part of the gold medal winning American teams in 2 World Championships. As a young girl, she began to learn gymnastics. Her favorite sport is the floor exercise. Aly has a strong support for her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to honor her mother who died due to cancer. In the future, she intends to pursue a career from fashion. It is also her goal to extend her leotards line and socks collection. She is writing a book called Fierce and will release during the course of the year.
